WOOOHOOO for Thursday! My only plan for the weekend is to chill with Becca Sue on Sunday afternoon.... I'm a more spur of the moment kind of person, last week we ended up going to the local dragraces on Saturday, it was hot but we had a good time....

Morning! We had a great time at Fossil Rim. I fed a giraffe. We took 2 cars so each kid would have a window seat. We drove to Granbury for lunch on the square and walked a little around there. It was a long day but fun. And my family only visits once a year or so, so I don't mind spending a fun filled week with them. Tomorrow we're going to Burgers Lake. This weekend- no idea but it will be with the folks. Sunday we'll give dad his father's day presents since they leave Monday.

Yes its summer break for me and yes I am up at 6:30...whats up with that?!?
I guess I have lots on my mind. I did the math yesterday on the job situation and I will work 976 less hours a year and make over $2000 more yearly by going with the new job. I'm supposedly getting a raise at my old job but I don't know that it will be enough to entice me with the extra 976 hours. The other job I am looking at would be serving 10 kids- ie 10 hours a week plus an emailed one page form to the office for each kid. I am not limited to 10 kids either, I can work as much as I want and make as much as I want too. They also pay for all of my licenses, $7800 in student loan payments, 11 paid days off (part time), and really great insurance. I guess my biggest concern is no more summers off. But when you look at it across the year I work way more hours even with summer break. Say a prayer that I make the right decision.
This weekend is my 20 Year Class Renunion. I can't believe I've been out of school for this long. Friday night is a social at a club and then Saturday is dinner at the Cowboy's Stadium. I was really impressed with the stadium when we took the kids to the PBR, but it will be interesting to see the ballroom and other things as well. We had high level reserve tickets but it was still the PBR, so the difference may be pretty incredible.
I think I may lay back down a bit and read. I think I will take Kaylee out to lunch today. Pei Wei has awesome vegetarian meals. She decided about a month ago to become vegetarian, so we are always in search of things she actually enjoys eating. Yes, this is my kid who raises livestock...go figure!

Good morning! I'm off today and taking Ben to College Station (or he is taking me) to look at the same model of apartment he will have to help us know exactly what furniture he'll need for sure. We'll run by Bath, Bed Beyond and Charming Charlies and maybe hit Aggieland Outfitters for Aggie stuff if we have time. I have only been to CS one time since Thanksgiving and that was to look at apartments and I had a stomach virus so this SHOULD be a more pleasant trip.
Tracey...the new job sounds like a good idea. Is it a school, private therapy place or ECI?

The weekend will hopefully be non eventful, except that we need to take all our patio furniture at our apartment and move it indoors. This includes all that planters of tamato plants and herbs. They will be painting our building on Monday. My mother is not real thrilled, but better safe then sorry.
